James was raised in Biloxi, Mississippi, and Atlanta, Georgia, but settled in Oklahoma via the U.S. Army. It was in Oklahoma that he accepted Christ and surrendered to the call to pastoral ministry.
After serving in the U.S. Army in Desert Storm and Shield, James studied at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, (B.A., Communications) and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forrest, NC, (M.Div.). His ministry experience has included pastor, church planter, and missionary in Central Asia.
Married to his wife Brandi for over twenty-five years, they have four children: Ansley, Chandler, Carly, and Warren. Brandi also has her Master's degree from SEBTS and has served God as an author and speaker.
A native Texan, Wade has been in music ministry for over 35 years, and at FBC Bartlesville since 2009. Adopted into a Christian home, he graduated from Nederland High School. He played percussion in the band, served as a student accompanist for the High School choirs, and played piano at church.
He received the Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Music Education degrees from Lamar University and the Master of Church Music and Master of Music from Southwestern Seminary.
Wade served as the piano accompanist for the Singing Men of Texas for 17 years and toured as a vocalist and guest accompanist in the CenturyMen choir. He and his wife, Becky, have one daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Mark Droigk.
Dustin was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma while living in Ponca City. He moved to Bartlesville at a young age and has lived there ever since. After high school, Dustin served in the United States Marine Corps and spent a few years in California.
When he returned to Bartlesville, he began attending church at First Baptist where he eventually surrendered his life to Christ and began perceiving his call to ministry.
Dustin is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry through Spurgeon College at MBTS.
He is married to Danielle, and they have three children: Lydia, Danica, and Judah.
Manuel Durán was born in Portuguesa, Venezuela. He and his wife Johana were married in 2008 and they have four children, Eliam Manuel, Carolyn Danella, Catherine Leah, and Gianna Grace.
Pastor Manuel's parents and grandparents used the Word of God to build his spiritual life and at the age of 11, he yielded and recognized Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
He studied theology at the Baptist Theological Seminary of Venezuela, obtaining his degree in theological studies with a specialization in the area of Pastoral ministry.
After visiting the city of Bartlesville, where there is a strong and growing Hispanic population, he felt the Lord was calling him to Northeast Oklahoma to serve as the pastor of the Hispanic ministry of Bartlesville First Baptist Church.
