Gregg Simmons was born in Houston, TX.  He had the privilege of being raised
in a Christian home and growing up in Southern Baptist churches. He became a Christ follower at age fifteen and was called to pastoral ministry at sixteen. He has the spiritual gifts of exhortation, preaching, teaching and leadership.

He graduated from Baylor University and Liberty Seminary. Over the course of 30 years, He had the privilege of serving as lead pastor in four churches. He spent ten years as a travelling revivalist.  He has had the opportunity to speak at pastor conferences, men’s conferences and marriage and family retreats.

He and his wife Patti were married in 1981. They have three children and four grandchildren.

Kevin Dray was born and raised in Bartlesville. Raised in a Christian home, he sensed God calling him into ministry in high school. He has served in churches in Kansas, Missouri, Louisiana, and Oklahoma over the past 25+ years. He currently serves in an interim capacity at BFBC and has done so on two previous occasions.

Kevin earned the Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma Baptist University, the Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, as well as the Master of Theology and Ph.D. in Theology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to serving Christ through local churches, he has also served as an educator at the elementary, secondary, and university levels for over 20 years. He currently teaches for Memoria Academy, an online school, where he also serves as Head of Classical and Christian Studies.

Kevin and his wife Kara have two daughters, Grace and Joanna. The family has lived in Bartlesville since 2005 and are proud to call it home.

A native Texan, Wade Daniel has been in music ministry for over 39 years, and at FBC Bartlesville since 2009. He is currently serving as the Minister of Music and Senior Adults.  Adopted into a Christian home, he graduated from Nederland High School. He played percussion in the band, served as a student accompanist for the High School choirs, and played piano at church. 
 
He received the Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Music Education degrees from Lamar University and the Master of Church Music and Master of Music from Southwestern Seminary.  
 
Wade served as the piano accompanist for the Singing Men of Texas for 17 years and toured as a vocalist and guest accompanist in the CenturyMen choir.  He and his wife, Becky, have one daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Mark Droigk.

Manuel G. Durán Gómez. Was born in Portuguesa, Venezuela. He and his wife Johana were married in 2008 and they have six children, Eliam Manuel, Carolyn Danella, Catherine Leah, Gianna Grace, Ellerie Anna, and Thiago Manuel. Pastor Manuel's parents and grandparents used the Word of God to build his spiritual life and at the age of 11 he yielded to God and recognized Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

He began his theological preparation at the Baptist Theological Seminary of Venezuela, obtaining his bachelor's degree in theology with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry. Living in the USA, he continued his theological studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri obtaining a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) In addition to a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry, a Master of Biblical Counseling and a Master's in Evangelism and Missions. He is currently studying for his doctorate in Ministry (D.Min.) with an emphasis in Evangelism and Missions at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Fort Worth, Texas (USA).

 

After visiting the city of Bartlesville in 2018, where there has been a strong and growing Hispanic population, Pastor Manuel moved to Northeast Oklahoma to serve as the Hispanic Ministry Pastor of Bartlesville First Baptist Church.

Born in San Antonio TX, Rene Gamez became a Christ-follower in the summer of 1994, after he graduated high school from Tomball High School in Tomball, TX.

Rene Surrendered his life to ministry in 1997 and has served the church in a variety of different roles such as Youth pastor, Singles Ministry Director, Associate Pastor of Students and Discipleship, and as the current Children's Minister here at BFBC.

He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2015 and also graduated in 2019 with his Master of Arts in Christian Education with Concentration in Biblical Counseling from the same seminary. He is also a premarital Facilitator with SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts). 

He married Amy in 2010 and they have 3 children: Bethany, Elizabeth and Joshua.
