One Vehicle… Please - As you are preparing to leave for worship, plan on taking just one vehicle per family if at all possible. Parking with a view of the speaker will be extremely limited. If you must bring more than one vehicle, plan on sitting together in one vehicle. Passengers in extra vehicles can park away from the main site and walk to the east parking lot.
Start Time is 10:00 a.m. – Did you catch that… Worship begins at 10:00 a.m.
Plan on allowing enough time to drive to the church, park, and prepare to worship… at 10:00 a.m.
Park in the Lot on Cherokee Avenue - Enter the parking lot on the east side of the church through the north entrance off of 4th Street. Follow the instructions of the parking attendants who will guide you to a parking space.
Follow Attendants' Instructions / Ignore the Lines on the Parking Lot - We plan on packing in the cars! Our attendants will help you leave enough space between cars to open your car doors. You will pull all the way forward to the car in front of you in order to allow us to park as many cars as possible on the lot. If a parking attendant tells you something different, then please listen to them.
Look for Signs Showing Radio Frequency - We will be broadcasting on an available FM radio frequency. Look for signs displaying the station to set your radio on to receive the broadcast. Then… enjoy the service!
Pick up a Kid’s Activity Kit – Our BFBC Children’s Ministry has prepared Kid’s Kits for all of our little ones. You can pick up your kit at the "front" of the parking lot near the deaf ministry tent (to take back to your vehicle). Look for the yellow balloons.
Find Song Lyrics here - Words for the songs we will sing during worship will be available online at mybfbc.org in the Mobile Worship Guide. Find them and then sing like only Jesus is listening!
Use Flashers for Assistance - If at any time during the service you require assistance, simply turn on your hazard lights and we will send someone to help you.
Be Safe and Smart - At all times practice wisdom and discretion in regard to social distancing.
Exit in an Orderly Fashion - At the end of the service, parking attendants will direct you to an exit. For most cars this will be an exit directly in front of you onto Cherokee Avenue. Please be patient and drive safely as we file out of the parking lot. Have a great week living for Jesus!
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What time does the service begin?
What do I do if I need to use the restroom?
Restroom facilities will be available in the Activities Building on the east side of the parking lot. Look for the yellow balloons designating the building.
Will there be a nursery or childcare?
No… but we will have Kid’s Activity Kits available on the patio of the Activities Building. These kits will help keep little ones occupied during the service. Once again, look for the yellow balloons marking the spot to pick up your kit.
How do I give my tithes and offerings?
You can give online through the Mobile Worship Guide at mybfbc.org, place your offering in the offering buckets at the exits as you leave the drive-in worship service or bring it by the church office next week.
What do I do if I want to speak with a minister, pray with someone, or give my life to Christ?
If you feel led to make a decision for Christ, or if you just need to talk or pray with someone, you can find the direction you need at the Family Life and Recreation Center (FLRC). As you are leaving the parking lot after the service, pull into the FLRC parking lot on the corner of 4th Street and Cherokee Avenue. Just look for the red balloons! There will be someone there to assist you.
What radio station do I tune in to hear the broadcast?
It all depends on which frequencies are available that morning. Look for signs being held by our parking lot assistants to show you what station to set your radio to.
